Literally translated from Sanskrit, Vinyasa means “connection.” Vinyasa Yoga synchronizes movement with breath which helps the practitioner develop a greater sense of self-awareness, balance, and harmony with themselves and their environment. Our Multi-Level Vinyasa classes include a full body flow of Sun Salutations, standing postures, balancing postures, forward folds, and possibly gentle inversions, back bends, and twists. You can expect to relax in Savasana at the end of class. These classes are appropriate for a variety of practitioners and will help guide you towards a deeper understanding of yoga. This class may have a different area of focus each time, stretching, lengthening, and strengthening varies muscle through movement and breath at a moderate, but intuitive pace.
